TPLO Beginner Course on November 18-19, 2019 

This is a two-day international Hands-on course for beginners in osteotomy that will cover an osteotomy approach for treating CCL ruptures.
The attendees will be able to diagnose CCL ruptures, perform pre-operative planning, learn how to do the surgical procedure and the postoperative treatment.
The instructors will be Antonio Pozzi, Peter Böttcher and Sarah Girling.

 TTA Rapid Veterinary CPD Training

The course outlines the development of the TTA Rapid procedure, a new course in Veterinary CPD in Ireland. TTA Rapid is fully explained, including the technique, the implants and instrumentation, the aftercare, potential complications and how to avoid them. A paper exercise demonstrates calculation of cage size for the correct tibial tuberosity advancement. Dry bone and cadaver exercises follow.
The course is designed for those already familiar with stifle surgeTraining1ry and the diagnoses of cranial cruciate ligament disease. Meniscal examination will not be a focus. Previous experience of osteomy techniques is not required, but is an asset.

Venue: Pan Veterinary, Lislee House, Kildare Town, Co.Kildare.
