Nu.Q In-House Cancer Test introduced at AVSPNI Conference.
Stuart and Graham were privileged to represent Pan Vet at the AVSPNI Spring Conference in Belfast on April 4th and 5th. The conference theme this year was Oncology. There was a Medical and Surgical Oncology Stream for vets and an Oncology and Nutrition Stream for nurses. The Conference was well attended and had some excellent speakers such as Aaron Harper, Jon Hall, Nicola Lakeman, Inge Breathnach and Sophie Conway. It was also a great opportunity for Pan Vet to introduce Antech’s Element i+, In-House Diagnostic Machine. With Nu.Q®, run on the Element i+™ analyser in-house, vets can now discover the risk for certain canine cancers, instantly. . The industry’s only in-house canine cancer test helps you define your differential list in minutes to inform pet owners of risk levels before they leave your office. The Nu.Q® test run on the Element i+ measures canine plasma nucleosome concentration to predict the likelihood of certain cancers. It requires only 50μL of EDTA plasma with high (>70%) detection rates for lymphoma and hemangiosarcoma. Efficient workflow makes it easy to incorporate Nu.Q® into routine wellness exams, at an affordable cost to pet owners.
