The last weekend of January saw the return on the Annual Vicas Conference to Galway and Pan Vet was there to show what we provide to the Irish veterinary market. Noel Fitzpatrick, aka “Channel 4’s Supervet” kept delegates enthralled with his incredible knowledge and enthusiasm on all things orthopaedic.
Pan Vet exhibited at the Irish Equine Veterinary Congress 2014 which this year took place in The Lyrath Estate Hotel and Convention Centre in Kilkenny. MMT (Modified Maquet Technique) is now established as an alternative to traditional TTA. It has been observed that the post-operative stability would be significantly increased if the cage had more than two screws. Additionally the machined TTA cage is not ideal for bone ingrowth.
