Pan Vet Sponsors International Canine Sports Medicine Conference 2025

Last month, Pan Vet had the privilege of sponsoring the International Canine Sports Medicine Conference 2025, held at University College Dublin from 21–23 August. It was an inspiring three days where veterinarians, surgeons, and specialists from across the world came together with one goal in mind: keeping our sporty, speedy canine companions in the very best shape. From greyhounds to working dogs, the focus was all about advancing care, performance and wellbeing. What Happened Over the Weekend The conference was jam-packed with learning and sharing: And with 24 CPD points up for grabs, attendees not only enjoyed themselves but also gained valuable professional development. A Truly Global Line-Up Some of the standout speakers included: The topics ranged from preventing toe injuries, managing heatstroke, and improving nutrition, to the latest breakthroughs in imaging, rehabilitation, and surgical repair. Why We Got Involved At Pan Vet, we’re passionate about supporting veterinary professionals who go the extra mile for the dogs they care for. Sponsoring this conference was our way of helping bring the global community together to share knowledge, build connections, and shape the future of canine sports medicine. “The International Canine Sports Medicine Conference was all about innovation, collaboration, and canine health — values that resonate deeply with Pan Vet. We were proud to stand alongside veterinary leaders and support such an important event,” said a Pan Vet spokesperson. Looking Ahead We left Dublin feeling inspired and excited about the future of veterinary sports medicine. A huge thank you to Church Meadows Veterinary for hosting such a well-organized event, and to all the attendees who made it a memorable few days. Here’s to healthier, happier, and speedier dogs everywhere! 🐕✨

Prof Antonio Pozzi lecture at Veterinary Specialists

Prof Antonio Pozzi lecture at Veterinary Specialists

Pan Vet was proud and happy to be part of an evening talk on Innovations in Joint Preservation given by Professor Antonio Pozzi of the University of Zurich. Taking place at Veterinary Specialists’ state of the art 8000 square foot Hospital in Summerhill, Co. Meath on April 5th, the evening was well attended by vets with a keen interest in the subject. Professor Pozzi covered topics including Knotless Anchors, TPLO, The Arthrex Cue System and the cost advantage of PRP/ACP for any veterinary practice. The evening was finished off with a highly informative and enthusiastic Q&A session which demonstrated the level of interest in the topic. Hors-d’œuvres and Deserts were served at the end of the night making it a very social start to the series. Thanks goes to Laura Cuddy and Turlough Mc Nally for hosting what they hope will be the first of many evening lectures.
