Pan Vet at the 18th Annual Equine Conference
Pan Vet was very happy to be part of the 18th Annual Equine Conference in the Celbridge Manor Hotel in Co.Kildare.
Once again there was a top class line-up with the two main speakers, Carolin Gerdes and Pat McCue, being joined by Carolyn Crowe, Claire Hawkes O’Donnell and solicitor Matthew Austin among others.
Carolin Gerdes formerly of Rossdales in Newmarket and now living and working in Germany, lectured on back pain, sacro-iliac joint disease and proximal suspensory desmopathy while Pat McCue of Colorado State University spoke on ovarian uterine, cervical and oviductal abnormalities.
The Conference also had a series of presentations by emerging young vets who outlined their approaches to several interesting topics. The conference programme kicked off with wetlabs taking place in the Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital on The Curragh covering two streams: Mare Reproduction Techniques or Diagnosis and Treatment of Spinal and Pelvic Lameness.
All the attendees over the days had only good things to say.
